Butterflies and moths: Tortricidae
Small tortrix moth with plain brown markings. Double dark spot midway along the trailing edge of the forewing. Females darker red and without much recognizable patterning. Flying at dusk by the yew hedge 17th June, 2023: 1 specimen. In greenhouse, 8th July, 2023, 1 specimen; in greenhouse 20th July, 2023, 1 specimen. Caught in light trap 9th August, 2023, 1 individual.
